Do we need to purchase anything?
You do not need to purchase anything. The session itself is included in the giveaway and we provide maternity wardrobe. While the session does include the option for a 10" portrait, you can choose to have a $500 credit applied toward any of our standard collections such as prints or canvases. We also have options for digital albums where people can print their own portraits.
With your credit applied, our fine art print collections starts at $350 and our canvas collections start at $750. All of our collections include a digital download of the slideshow (12-18 images).
We understand money can be tight in this season of life, so if money or budget is an issue, we offer flexible and affordable payment plans. We do not want your portrait to be a financial burden.
So do I need to make a decision during my session or can I think about it later on?
The proofing and ordering session is designated as the time to make important decisions about your artwork. Certain promotions and incentives can only be taken advantage of during this session, so please keep that in mind. Please note, the gift credit is only available during the proofing session.
Can my partner/spouse/child(ren) join me?
Yes! Absolutely! For moms who have partners/spouses, we ask that you bring your partner with you as having both parents is core part of the experience... it's not mandatory but it is highly encouraged.
We encourage couples to arrange for a sitter if at all possible and to make the session a special day for you and your partner. We do ask that if you bring a child under the age of 7, that you have a family member (not a spouse/partner) to watch the child(ren) so you can enjoy your experience
Most people tend to go out to dine after their session as we have several restaurants within easy walking distance.
Where do we park?
We suggest parking on the street, but we do have a 2-3 parking garages within walking distance. For weekend sessions, public parking is free. Please by ready 5-7 minutes prior to your session
What do we wear?
Below are the dresses we have in the studio which you're welcome to use.
The two lace dresses are the most popular for our silhouette sessions. If you wish to wear the lace one (completely optional), then you'll want to use solid colors underneath.
For the suggested list of clothing you can bring:
Sport and/or nursing bra | Jeans and/or Leggings
Plain shirt (solid color is preferred) | Cardigans | Anything else you wish to bring.
Typically you won't see feet in your portraits so shoes are not important.
As a rule of thumb, darker or solid colors are best**
For men, we suggest the following:
Solid colored shirt | Dark/solid color pants or jeans | Blazers and sport jackets are welcome but not necessary
Below, you can see a sampling of what we have. If there’s a specific clothing item you’re counting on, we advised to check with us before you come in. Typically, we do remove the item off the page if it is out of commission.
