Our studio is a little different — let us explain.

For most studios, you either pay a session fee upfront and then choose a package or you’ll pre-purchase your package ahead of the actual session. We have decided to do the opposite and give families at no cost and only after experiencing our sessions, will families have to decide if they want to move forward with choosing to invest in one of portrait packages.

So why are we doing things this way? Why don’t we charge upfront?

Easy. We believe that you should not have to spend anything at all unless you absolutely love your portraits. Portraits are an investment and we want to be certain that when your portraits arrive, you can’t wait to put them on your wall. So when you book your portrait experience with us, your experience is greatest priority.

Having taken professional portraits for nearly two decades, we have learned a thing or two about how to take your time with us from simply being a photo session to a portrait experience. We believe that the best portraits come from a meaningful experience where both you, your significant other, and children actually had an enjoyable time. We believe that guiding our clients through the decision making process before the experience helps create a better experience because with a busy life, the less to have to plan, the easier. During the session, we have a comfortable studio, a bathroom nearby (if you’ve ever shot outdoors, then you’ll understand), wardrobe options, and we guide you through the session so you can focus on each other.

Ultimately, we couldn’t imagine not doing what we do. There have been so many fathers and mothers who have been tears after seeing their portraits (you do not need to cry, but there might be raw onions under the table). We often say, “We are not here to change you, but change the way you see yourself” because everyone deserves to see how beautiful they already are.
